This course runs over two years and provides an opportunity to develop skills in circus and performance, enabling you to move on to a higher level qualification in this area or other performing arts professions. The course will be jointly hosted at Hackney Community College’s Shoreditch Campus and at Circus Space in Hoxton, with professional facilities, tutors and practising artists.

The course covers a range of specialist circus disciplines including acrobatics, aerial, equilibristics, and manipulation, in addition to wider performing arts disciplines in performance workshop, performing to an audience, developing physical theatre, performing arts business, developing movement skills, the healthy performer and movement in performance.

Entry requirements: 4 GCSEs at grades A-C or BTEC Level 2 Diploma (merit); plus an audition and interview.
