Skills Teacher/Acrobatic
We are
looking for an experienced, versatile and creative teacher who is able
to teach a range of acrobatic skills from absolute beginner to advanced.
Skills that the desired teacher can teach should include tumbling, handstands
and acrobatic balancing. An ability to teach other acrobatic skills
would be desirable, especially in a circus context.
Tuesdays
Evenings from 6.30-9.45pm (3¼ hours) teaching acrobatic tumbling
from the 29th April 2008 (permanent position)
Thursday
Evenings from 6.30-9.45pm (3¼ hours) teaching handstands and
acrobatic balancing from the 1st May - 7th August 2008 (maternity cover
for 15-weeks)
The ideal candidates are great team-players, see potential
in everyone and possesses good facilitative skills to nurture students
creativity and interests. The Adult Programme runs in three 15-week
terms, which are separated by two-week term breaks. Applicants will
need to be able to commit to teaching all of the dates during these
